These terms govern your use of Starkept (the “Site”). By using the Site or buying a file, you agree to them.

What we sell

A digital file: a print-ready PDF and a high-resolution image of a star map generated from the date, time and location you choose. Nothing physical is shipped. Nothing is framed or printed for you.

Who you buy from

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and the seller for every order placed here. Your contract of sale is with them: they take the payment, issue the receipt, handle any sales tax or VAT, and their terms and privacy policy govern the transaction itself. Your card statement will show Lemon Squeezy rather than Starkept.

Starkept is the trading name under which the designs are produced and the Site is operated. If you need the operator's registered details for a legal or consumer-rights purpose, request them at support@starkept.com and we will provide them.

Your licence

The file you buy is licensed to you for personal use. You may print it as many times as you like, at any size, for yourself or as a gift. You may not resell the file, redistribute it, or use it in a product you sell, without written permission.

Accuracy of the star map

Star positions are computed from the Yale Bright Star Catalogue using standard astronomical methods, corrected for precession and for the time zone applicable at your chosen location on that date. It is a faithful depiction of the naked-eye sky, but it is a decorative print, not a navigational or scientific instrument.

You are responsible for the date, time and location you enter. A file generated from details you typed incorrectly is not a fault in the product, though see our refunds policy, because we would rather fix it than argue about it.

Your content

You keep any wording you add to a poster. You confirm you have the right to use it, and that it is not unlawful or infringing. We do not review what you type, and we do not store your poster text after your file is generated.

Availability

The Site is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or withdraw designs at any time. Files you have already bought are unaffected.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the Site or a file is limited to the amount you paid for that file. We are not liable for printing costs, framing costs, or missed occasions.

Governing law

Your purchase is governed by the terms of Lemon Squeezy, who is the seller of record for the transaction. For anything concerning the Site itself, the law of the operator's country of residence applies; those details are available on request at support@starkept.com.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your own country.
