Privacy Policy

Short version: your poster is built in your own browser, we never see your payment details, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.
What happens in your browser
The star map is generated entirely on your device. The date, time, location and any wording you type are used to draw the preview locally. None of it is sent to us while you are designing.
Place search
When you search for a place, the text you type is sent to our server, which forwards it to LocationIQ to look up coordinates. We cache results so common searches are not looked up repeatedly. We do not log who searched for what.
Payment
Payment is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Your card details go to them and never pass through our servers, we could not see them if we wanted to. They share with us only what we need to fulfil the order: your order reference, email address, and the poster details you chose.
What we keep
- Order records held by Lemon Squeezy, as required for tax and accounting.
- Your poster details (date, place, wording) attached to your order, so your file can be regenerated if you need it again.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics profiling, no data sold or shared for marketing.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@starkept.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests covering order records may be limited by the tax-retention obligations of the merchant of record.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change. Past purchases stay governed by the policy in force when you bought.
